On Display!
The unrealized project titled “On Display!” takes up the sculpture group with the formal language of exhibition architectures, which together as display devices could be played with posters, pictures, sculptures, photographs, announcement banners, illuminated objects, everyday objects or archive materials of the Culture Center Adlershof in Berlin.
Arbeiterwille: An (Im)possible Movement
Using the historical publication “Arbeiterwille” as a starting point, this artistic contribution focuses on the current possibilities for collective self-understanding in the midst of neoliberal and global technological and environmental changes.
Polyphonic Assemblage
The artist Dejan Marković took the title of the sculpture “Cat-Tree” literally and developed an (im)possible site-specific situation between two invited cats, the sculpture and the architecture of the Kunsthaus. For two days, the cats were given the opportunity to experience and explore the ‘tree’ and the Kunsthaus. They were for a while allowed to interact with visitors and with objects, things and spaces developed for humans – a moment of togetherness in which an ephemeral assemblage was formed.
Shapes of Things Before My Eyes
The video “Shapes of Things Before My Eyes“ was filmed through the eyes of a rescue robot, ‘Wowbagger’, developed at the robotics department of Graz University of Technology.
Arena
The exhibition is spatially structured around the scientific model of “a state of exception” as the simulation of a training centre for autonomous machines composed of wooden boards, plastic barrels, children’s dolls, bricks, handwritten signs and lighting objects.
Ideological Void
Ideological Void is a long-term investigation into the ideological materialism and connected historical narratives established as hegemonial after the fall of the Iron Curtain. The ongoing artistic intervention deals with a series of the ruins that show traces of portrait removal or destruction bearing witness to their lost active socio-political role. The missing busts are re-molded from a soluble material and installed on the empty plinths.

Vita
