Registration KIÖR Artist Database

The Office for Art in Public Spaces maintains a database of portfolios of artists working in the field of art in public space and art in architecture. All professional artists residing and working in Berlin can register in this database with examples of their work. It is the only database in Europe for art in architecture and public art, currently listing around 740 artists and artist groups.

The artists listed in the database can be proposed by the bbk berlin's expert commission for public art and by the art advisory boards active in Berlin for closed, invited competitions. The database is available for viewing by interested parties.

Admission to the ‘KiöR Artist Database’ is based on an application for admission, a digital portfolio and entry into the online database. The portfolio should contain examples of work and an artistic CV. Please send all complete documentation to: info@kioer.kulturwerk-bbk.berlin

In addition to the digital archive, the office maintains an analogue card index in which portfolios and catalogues are archived and made accessible. In addition to the digital portfolio, individual catalogues and portfolios can also be submitted.

The data will be processed and stored in accordance with the applicable data protection regulations.
